Charles at Altura Chiropractic provided a very thorough initial consultation, I felt at ease at the appointment and was given all the information I needed. My neck and hip pain significantly improved after the first session, this has continued to improve after follow up sessions and I’ve also experienced improved mobility in my neck.

Since I have been getting treatment from Charles at Altura the quality of my everyday life has improved 100%. I have been visited Altura since July 2020 as I was suffering with severe neck and shoulder pain and was not very mobile at the time. Charles was very through at the initial appointment and took his time to explain to me exactly what the problem was. After a short number of appointments, I was fully mobile once more. Charles explains in detail what the problems are and will also give you exercises to help aid your recovery. He also does not rush appointments and ensures that any issues or pain is dealt with. I continue to visit Altura on a monthly basis as ‘maintenance’ and this helps me enormously. I would highly recommend Altura and will continue using their services for the foreseeable future.
Great experience! Had a good feeling from the start and wasn’t disappointed. From the first day Charles met me outside because I struggled to find the place initially (there is a sign, though!). Very thorough initial examination and took the time to sit me down and explain what was going to happen and the potential timescale. Very flexible on the appointments and provided exercises to carry out in-between appointments. Very good work ethic and knowledge, very friendly and I believe genuinely wants to help you recover as quick as possible and not drag out treatment for the sake of profit. I have had treatment elsewhere and Altura beat it in all areas, and there’s plenty of parking in the area!

After speaking to a friend about a back problem, Nick suggested I give Charles a ring at Altura Chiropractic Clinic on Fidlas Road Cardiff. I had severe lower back, hip and neck pain which caused me sleepless nights and mobility problems. I rang the clinic on Saturday morning and left a message. Charles rang me back within the hour and arranged an appointment for the following Monday. Charles made me feel at ease and was very thorough whilst taking details of my problem. With the treatment that followed, he was able to release the tension and muscle spasm in my lower back and free up the vertebrae which had locked due the tension in my neck and spine. I was also given exercises to do at home to help stretch the muscles. For the first time in a long while I was able to move and bend without problems. I am very happy with the treatment I am receiving and feel it has been an enormous benefit to me. I would thoroughly recommend Charles and Altura Chiropractic Clinic.
I encountered a trapped sciatic nerve over Xmas and emailed this practice along with numerous others. It was a Saturday between Xmas and new year, and Charles was the only chiropractor to call me to give advice even though he was closed. This gesture alone spoke volumes of his professionalism and care. I have had 4 sessions with Charles since this time, and have improved dramatically in posture, comfort, pain relief and now back driving. The practice is clean, warm and complies with strict COVID rules. I cannot recommend Altura enough.
